			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Try <a href="http://www.adventurerace.com/web-ruta/index.htm">La Ruta</a> that is.  Reading the various <a href="http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=356901">reports</a> has given me a bit of an itch to sign up &#8211; especially that <a href="http://teamdicky.blog.com/2348749/">Dicky guys</a> account.  What better way to rationalize a new bike purchase than by destroying your bike as you drag it through the jungle for four days and have it hosed down with kerosene at night!</p>
<p>Logistically it could be pretty easy with family in San Jose and Jaco and plenty of air miles to swing tickets.  But to go back to Costa Rica and spend time sweating through the jungle on a bike instead of surfing &#8211; that&#8217;s the rub for me &#8211; I think I&#8217;ll take the surfing instead&#8230;</p>
