But being back home has it’s advantages – breakfast from the kids and some nice summer skiing. Today was supposed to be a long Fathers Day ride, but as I stumbled around in a state of jet lag, procrastinating riding, an alternate plan was hatched – skiing. After a noon “snowboarder” start, we were relegated to some less committing lines as the afternoon’s thunder clouds built up. After some hiking and aimless bumbling up above tree line, we finally got in some turns. What a difference a day makes…
